Overview
StructuredFi focuses on investment, portfolio management, and structuring activities across structured credit and capital markets.
The firm’s perspective is grounded in direct experience investing in, managing, and structuring portfolios of whole loans and structured securities. This work is informed by asset-level underwriting, disciplined cash-flow modeling, and practical evaluation of risk, leverage, structure, and market execution.
Whole Loans and Structured Credit
StructuredFi has direct experience investing in, managing, and evaluating portfolios of whole loans and structured credit instruments across residential, commercial, and specialty asset classes.
Focus areas include asset selection, portfolio construction, performance monitoring, and risk management across both performing and stressed environments, with attention to collateral characteristics, borrower behavior, and macroeconomic sensitivity.
Securitization and Asset-Backed Structures
A core area of experience is the structuring and analysis of securitizations and asset-backed financing structures.
This includes evaluation of collateral pools, structural features, waterfall mechanics, tranche-level risk and return characteristics, and performance drivers across private-label and agency-related transactions. Work reflects hands-on involvement in assessing structure, leverage, and execution considerations across multiple asset classes.
Capital Markets and Portfolio Management
StructuredFi’s capital markets experience spans portfolio management, valuation, and relative-value analysis across whole loans, mortgage credit securities, and structured investment products.
This work includes loan-level cash-flow modeling, assessment of risk-adjusted returns, liquidity considerations, and portfolio analytics supporting investment, financing, and disposition decisions across market cycles.
Capital Markets Perspective and Advisory Support
StructuredFi also provides an independent capital markets perspective to institutions evaluating portfolio transactions, securitization structures, and asset disposition strategies.
Advisory and analytical engagements are informed by principal investment experience and a practical understanding of asset behavior, structure, and execution risk. This may include technical review of structures, development of analytical frameworks, and collaboration with internal investment, risk, and capital markets teams.
